The work of Nicholas Saunders remains an indispensible cornerstone for all subsequent research on rave culture and related chemical and musical subcultures. His death is a blow to all who have been transformed by the Ecstatic encounter, but his spirit nevertheless thrives in the vital plurality shared by ravers and other lovers everywhere. Peace.
